Feilding Cricket Club v Palmerston Cricket
By ANDREW BURROW
A strong attack
The Feilding Premier 2 cricket side put in a
solid performance against Palmerston
Cricket Club on Saturday, winning by 66
runs on the Kowhai Park artificial wicket.
The wet start to the season washed out the
first day last week, and Saturday's game was

wickets contributing only 15 runs, and Feild-
ing were all out for 171 in the 46th over.
For Palmerston Nick Walsh was the pick of
the bowlers, accounting for the Feilding
middle order and taking 5-39.
Palmerston never really managed to seize
the initiative with the bat, their reply muted
by the searching Feilding attack.
Spearheaded by Bradley (4-24), and backed
by Kieran McKendry and Mike Ireland, who
both took 2-14, the visitors innings steadily
Ben Holmes (25) offered token resistance,
but Feilding prevailed in the 40th over, bun-
dling Palmerston out for 105 and winning by
